Medical Students: My name is Megan Kruskie. I am a second year PhD student in the Anatomy & Physiology Education Track Program. I am conducting research on what medical students believe to be ideal characteristics of a physician and the sources through which those perceived ideal characteristics of physicians arise.
We are recruiting 40 first- and second-year IUSM medical students to participate in one of five focus groups where you will share your thoughts about ideal physicians. Each focus group will last no longer than 1-1/2 hours. Each participant will receive an individual boxed lunch for participating.
We are looking to schedule focus groups between April 15 and May 4 to accommodate Year Two students beginning Phase 2. The focus group will take place on your home campus so you will not be obligated to travel.
