Charles Rudick, PhD, has been named assistant dean for medical student education (MSE), Phase 1 curriculum. Rudick also serves as assistant director of medical education at IU School of Medicine-Bloomington and is the faculty co-chair of the Foundational Component Committee of the IU School of Medicine Curriculum Council Steering Committee. In addition to teaching pharmacology and physiology components in multiple Phase 1 courses, he was the statewide course director for both Fundamentals of Health and Disease, and Cardiovascular & Hematology.

An assistant professor of clinical pharmacology and toxicology, Rudick has received the Trustee’s Teaching Award, IU School of Medicine’s Exemplar of Professionalism Award and the Basic Science Teaching Award-Outstanding Faculty.
