Meet the OB-GYN Class of 2028.

Welcome to the OB-GYN Class of 2028

The 10 new residents stand in 2 rows outside of Walther Hall, wearing their IU School of Medicine white coats

Being matched to residency is challenging in every discipline, but the match for aspiring OB-GYNs is especially competitive. With diverse interests, distinct research areas, countless advocacy opportunities and numerous subspecialties, aspiring OB-GYN applicants must carefully consider each program.  As demand for exceptional, compassionate OB-GYNs increases, so does the candidate pool for residency.

The IU School of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology received nearly 800 applications for 10 resident spots in the 2024 cycle. After careful consideration, the national match process and multiple interviews with top candidates, we are proud to introduce our OB-GYN Class of 2028.
