Circuitry Underlying Escalation and Front-Loading of Alcohol Drinking

Binge and high-intensity drinking is a dangerous excessive drinking pattern that may lead to alcohol use disorder and other health risks. This project examines brain circuits that may contribute to this risky alcohol use by reducing alcohol reward, which could lead to improved therapies for alcohol use disorder.
