Clark Day

Vice President, IU Health System Laboratory Services

Clark Day is responsible for the operations and administration of IU Health’s Pathology Laboratory services. 

Prior to this role, Day applied his breadth of experience in sales, marketing, strategy and business analytics in senior business leadership roles at IU Health and other prominent local healthcare organizations.  He is passionate about learning, developing creative solutions, empowering his team and enhancing the customer experience. Day oversaw the launch of IU Health’s specimen collection services and laboratory testing capability in response to COVID-19. Directing his team of expert leaders in creating COVID-19 specimen collection, testing and reporting within the contained environment of the 2021 NCAA Men’s National Basketball Championship in Indianapolis is a career highlight.

Day earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Statistics from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from Butler University. He is married with two adult children and enjoys home improvement projects with his wife and exploring history, food and culture during vacation travels with his family.
