The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine houses numerous cutting-edge research laboratories investigating a wide range of diseases and biological processes. Bakas Lab

Dr. Spyridon Bakas researches advanced computational algorithms for development, application, and benchmarking in medical imaging.

Bellail Lab

Dr. Anita C. Bellail’s research is centered on the post-translational modifications of ubiquitin (UB) and small ubiquitin-like modifier-1 (SUMO1).

Du Lab

The primary research focus of Dr. Du's laboratory is to identify the cellular and molecular mechanisms that affect inflammatory cells.

Ghetti Lab

Bernardino Ghetti, MD, is the founder of the Indiana Alzheimer Disease Center and researches neurodegenerative dementias.

Hao Lab

Sandusky Lab
