Tepper Lab

The research laboratory (Indianapolis) of Robert Tepper, MD, PhD focuses on lung structure and function as it relates to airway hyper-reactivity, as well as lung growth and development.

Tharp Lab

The major focus of Dr. Tharp’s lab (Indianapolis) is to develop peptides that have unique therapeutic and research applications. The lab is currently focused on developing cyclic peptides with anti-cancer and anti-viral properties.

Thirumala Lab

The Thirumala lab supports the development of novel processes starting from cell isolation from primary tissues to design and optimization of large scale manufacturing, pre-clinical evaluation and differentiation of cells including immune and stem cells, genetic modification of cells by viral/non-viral vectors, and development of cGMP PhaseI/II manufacturing for both autologous and allogenic cell therapy products.

Tilston Lab

The major focus of the Tilston Lab (Indianapolis) is to understand how novel bunyaviruses with distinct pathologies emerge via reassortant.

Tran Lab

Dr. Tran is a physician-scientist who began studying malaria as a graduate student in the laboratory of Dr. Mary Galinski at Emory University. After completing his Internal Medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and a clinical fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), he trained as a post-doctoral fellow with Dr. Peter Crompton in the Laboratory of Immunogenetics at NIAID, where he studied naturally acquired immunity to falciparum malaria in a prospective cohort study conducted in Mali.

Tran Lab

The laboratory of Ngoc-Tung Tran, PhD, exploits gene editing platforms (CRISPR/Cas9) to model and develop gene therapy for monogenic disorders. In collaboration with other groups at IU School of Medicine, the lab is also interested in finding novel therapeutic targets for the treatment of multiple myeloma. (Indianapolis)

Truitt Lab

The Truitt Lab (Indianapolis) is focused on determining how social interactions can be used to overcome anxiety. This lab team hopes to contribute to elucidating the neural mechanism by which psychotherapy helps patients overcome anxiety.
