Pediatric Emergency Medicine

Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians care for the wide range of acute injuries and illnesses that affect the pediatric population, as these conditions are often serious and potentially life threatening.

The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine consists of a faculty team who are practicing physicians and educators committed to training the future specialists in this field of medicine.

Graduate Medical Education

This is the only Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in the United States to house training programs for both a combined residency in emergency medicine and pediatrics and a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship. The collaborative spirit, caliber of trainees and dedication of faculty make IU School of Medicine an exciting place to work and learn.
