I started at IU as an Assistant Business Manager in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics in September 2016. In August 2019, I became the Division Administrator for the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep & Occupational Medicine.

Coming to IU has been a great decision for me. I previously worked in many different positions and industries from the Indiana Medicaid call center to accounting and marketing for a planned-giving marketing firm.

As a division administrator, I get to work closely with faculty that are great clinicians and/or researchers. I interact with people that work in labs and learn about the interesting research they are doing, and I help form an administrative team that allows the faculty and other staff to do what they do best.

In 2020, I decided to complete a one year “mini-MBA” (Graduate Certificate in Medical Management). I had no intention of completing an MBA at that time, but I found that I really enjoyed school and decided to complete the Evening MBA program here at IU after finishing the certificate program. I finished the MBA program in May 2023 and now have lots of free time! It was a great experience and I continue to stay involved with the Kelley School of Business by speaking at info sessions and helping with the planning committee for the Kelley Indianapolis MBA Women’s Association (KIMWA).

I received The Carol D. Nathan Staff Scholar Scholarship from IUPUI staff council in October of 2022 and a leadership award from Kelley for my role on the board of KIMWA and other volunteering I did during my time in school. I love seeing other School of Medicine folks start their certificate or MBA journey.

I live in Brownsburg with my husband, Brian, and a one year old pug named Malu. I follow the Pittsburgh Steelers and Indiana Pacers, have done over 30 escape rooms, and play the cello in a community orchestra.
