Did you know March is Brain Injury Awareness Month?

Brain injury impacts millions every year, from college athletes to the elderly. What do we know? What are still trying to figure out? Experts, like Dr. Thomas McAllister, are tackling the toughest questions about concussion and other brain related injuries right here in the heart of Indiana.

Throughout this month, IU School of Medicine will highlight its experts who are conducting research in several brain injury related topics, such as concussion, traumatic brain injury (TBI), pain, rehabilitation, neuroimaging, as well as how one’s emotions are impacted after a brain injury event.
