Angela D. LaSalle, MD and Michele Helfgott, MD have the first integrative medicine elective being offered at the Fort Wayne campus to second and third year students. Students will see patients in the office under the supervision of both board-certified integrative medicine physicians.
They will learn evidenced-based treatment and prevention of chronic illnesses, along with a holistic approach to optimal health and healing. Students will participate in both individual and shared patient appointments, as well as spend time with in-house dietician, and a compound pharmacist.
