Indiana University School of Medicine students can now access convenient virtual medical care for a variety of conditions through IU-Indianapolis Campus Health, saving precious time and making healthcare more accessible.&nbsp;<br /> <div></div>

Virtual Medical Visits are available for medical students

Time is precious in medical school. One way IU School of Medicine is making healthcare as easy and accessible as possible is through virtual medical appointments. A virtual medical appointment can be a convenient way to get the medical care you need.

All Indiana University School of Medicine students are eligible to have virtual visits with IU-Indianapolis Campus Health. IU-Indianapolis virtual visits can be scheduled for:

  • minor sprains
  • anxiety 
  • depression 
  • oral contraceptive medication (initial or refills)
  • constipation 
  •  acne
  • nausea/vomiting/diarrhea(without abdominal pain)
  • heartburn/acid reflux 
  • nutritional counseling 
  • eye infections(conjunctivitis)
  •  laboratory testing results
  •  rashes or insect bites
  • seasonal allergies 
  • most medication refills
  • skin issues
 
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) -
    requires in person visit once every six moths
 

To schedule a virtual visit for one of the approved conditions with IU-Indianapolis Campus Health, call 317-274-8214. At the time of the visit, you will need to be in the state of Indiana.

IU-Indianapolis Campus Health is open Monday through Wednesday 7:30am-5pm, Thursday 9am-5pm, and Friday 8am-4pm except IU holidays.
