The Indiana Primary Care Advancement in Clinical Training (INPACT) HRSA Grant, in partnership with the Indiana State Department of Health and local County Departments of Health, offers a unique hands-on externship. This externship will give you real-world experience in preventive medicine and public health in Indiana communities."
Students will work with county health officials to investigate and address high-priority public health problems including various infectious diseases (including TB, HIV, and STIs), food-borne disease outbreaks, maternal and child health, child or adult immunization, and chronic disease management.
