Each year the graduating class honors outstanding IU School of Medicine members for their excellence in teaching and contributions during an awards celebration.
From excellence in teaching basic and clinical science to recognizing other faculty and staff for their contributions — this is an opportunity for the seniors to shine a spotlight on those who have positively impacted their medical school journey. Learners from each graduating class nominate and vote on these awards in the spring semester, and the awards are generally announced in May.
- IU School of Medicine and other organizations will present awards to Class of 2024 members at the annual Awards Celebration on Thursday, May 9.

Award recipients will be notified via email this week without details of the award until the Awards Celebration.

Friends and family of recipients are welcome to attend.
Additional awards being presented:
- Faculty and staff will receive awards as voted on by the Class of 2024.
- Military Commissioning for class members who will continue their medical careers in U.S. military organizations.
