Find Resources

The Department of Mental Health Services has collected a range of resources that offer more information about mental health issues and available treatment options. These resources are not intended as a replacement for therapy or treatment with a licensed provider, but rather are intended to provide a general overview of common mental health topics as well as offer additional places for support.

If you are interested in pursuing a more personalized assessment of your mental health, or feel you could benefit from our services, visit the Mental Health Services Learner Portal or call our office at 317-278-2383 to schedule an intake with a therapist. If you are interested in accessing TimelyCare services, visit the TimelyCare app to sign-up and schedule an appointment.

External services

Trainees looking for counseling and therapy services outside of IU School of Medicine can now access a directory of fee-based community-based providers using ThrivingCampus. ThrivingCampus offers a free, searchable database that trainees can personalize to meet their specific needs using a variety of filters, including race, gender, religious affiliation, area of specialty, and availability of telehealth appointments. Providers are located throughout the country and have not been personally vetted by the Department of Mental Health Services. Trainees will need to either use their insurance benefits or pay privately for therapy sessions through these providers.
