The IU School of Medicine Dean’s Office of Strategic Communications provides internal and external communications services, including public and media relations, marketing, and branding. The team also oversees digital communications for the School, including platform strategy and stakeholder management for the IU School of Medicine website, social channels, email messaging and more.
This office seeks to unify communications for IU School of Medicine and deliver clear, consistent messages at a statewide level for all core audiences, including current and prospective faculty, students, staff, alumni, donors, community members and industry partners.
To improve communications and make schoolwide information easily accessible on a digital platform, the Office of Strategic Communications initiated and oversaw the production of IU School of Medicine’s first limited-scope intranet, MedNet, which launched in the spring of 2016.
