The generosity of donors is critical to helping IU School of Medicine—West Lafayette maintain the highest quality of medical education and research. By supporting students and faculty at the West Lafayette campus, donors help to improve medical care for residents in the community, as physicians who study in West Lafayette often return to practice in the area.Funds in the campus account support medical students in West Lafayette by helping them to pay expenses related to presenting research, attending AMA meetings, and purchasing required medical equipment and books. Donations to this campus also provide assistance for medical student tuition and fees. The flexibility provided by the general campus fund enhances the experience of current students.
