    Provides histological services histomorphometric analysis for basic science (non-clinical) research. Both mineralized (plastic embedded) and soft tissue (paraffin embedded and frozen) specimens can be prepared by the facility.

    Imaging and Flow Cytometry

    The IU School of Medicine Imaging and Flow Cytometry Core facility, located on the school’s South Bend campus, operates a laser core facility in Raclin-Carmichael and Harper halls which houses multiple types of laser-scanning tools.

    Immunohistochemistry Core

    Specializes in assisting researchers with histologic and immunohistochemical labeling of cells or tissue sections as well as collaborations with surgical pathologists. To this end, basic histological services are also offered, e.g. paraffin and frozen sectioning.

    In-Vivo Therapeutics

    The In-Vivo Imaging Core provides imaging services for clinical trial, observational and preclinical studies. The core also provides radiochemistry support for molecular imaging. Highly skilled faculty and staff are available to assist with research study designs.
