About Amy

Amy joined the Office of Gift Development in spring 2023. In her role as a development coordinator, she provides administrative assistance to Amber Senseny and the IU Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center gift development team.

Amy graduated in 2003 with a master's degree in education administration from Butler University. She also has a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Before coming to the Office of Gift Development, Amy was an elementary teacher in Indianapolis Public Schools for 18 years. She enjoys reading, DIY projects, refinishing furniture and spending time with her husband Danny. Her son Jacob attends Hanover College in Madison, IN. Chief — a lovable rescue pittie — and an elusive cat named Smokey keep her company when working remotely.
