Apostolova Lab

The Apostolova lab, led by Liana G. Apostolova, MD, focuses on the characterization of early symptomatic and pre-symptomatic stages of Alzheimer’s disease and on the development and validation of sensitive imaging and genetic biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementing disorders. The lab is affiliated with the Indiana Alzheimer Disease Center, the Center for Neuroimaging and several other school centers and departments. The lab works with data from several high profile Alzheimer’s disease studies, including data from the Longitudinal Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease Study (LEADS) and the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI). The lab also works with datasets from the Imaging and Genetic Biomarkers for Alzheimer’s Disease Study (ImaGene).
