When information needs to be distributed to IU School of Medicine students, staff and faculty, the IU School of Medicine Strategic Communications team uses a collection of communication platforms, including digital signs, a weekly newsletter, email notifications and a limited-scope intranet.
MedTV is an internal digital signage system available throughout several IU School of Medicine campuses, including Indianapolis, Muncie, Fort Wayne and West Lafayette.
InScope is the official internal newsletter for IU School of Medicine faculty, staff and students. InScope is published by the IU School of Medicine Office of Strategic Communications, who encourages the submission of campus, department and school news, events, student activities, grant opportunities, award announcements and other types of information about the IU School of Medicine community. News items can be submitted for InScope by emailing the editor at firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for submissions is noon on Wednesdays.
Internal communications are sometimes distributed through the school’s email system. For news items of interest to IU School of Medicine faculty, staff and students, please submit a news tip.
MedNet is the central hub for IU School of Medicine internal communications, including InScope, MedTV, meetings and more.
