Statistical Methods in Imaging Conference 2024

It is our great pleasure to host the 2024 annual meeting of the ASA Statistics in Imaging Section. Statistical Methods in Imaging (SMI) aims to bring together investigators from students to established researchers who are working on methods and applications in a diverse array of imaging science, including but not limited to biomedical imaging, immunofluorescence imaging and geospatial imaging.

The conference will be held on May 29-31 at JW Marriott Indianapolis, with an evening social event and poster session on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Experts from the Department of Biostatistics and Health Data Science at IU School of Medicine and the Regenstrief Institute recently gathered for the 3rd annual Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Innovation Conference, “Moving from Reactive to Proactive,” to share the latest research, uses and potential of AI.

IU School of Medicine names new chair to lead Department of Biostatistics and Health Data Science

Indiana University School of Medicine has appointed Kun Huang, PhD, as chair of the Department of Biostatistics and Health Data Science, effective October 1, 2021. Huang brings a tremendous amount of research, education and leadership experience to the role. He currently serves as vice chair for data science and professor with the department.
