Bio

Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine because I value caring for patients as a whole and cherish the opportunity to treat each organ system. Advocating for my patients, educating them about their health, and empowering them to take charge of their well-being are aspects of the profession that deeply resonate with me. Additionally, I appreciate the chance to promote healthy living and practice preventative medicine alongside treating chronic illnesses. I look forward to developing lasting physician-patient relationships and caring for patients across all stages of their lives.

Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program: When searching for a residency program, I looked for a program that would enable me to have an exceptional foundation in all areas of medicine while also allowing me to explore my individual interests. IU's specialty tracks stood out to me as they allow residents to tailor their training, positioning them well for fellowships and clinical practice. Additionally, prioritizing resident wellness was a key factor in my decision-making process, and I was impressed by the environment IU has cultivated, which fosters residents' success and fulfillment. Every resident I spoke with was enthusiastic about sharing their experiences and answering my questions. I am incredibly excited to join the team at IU!

Personal interests and hobbies: In my free time I love reading, traveling to new places, re-watching my favorite sit-coms, watching reality TV, playing or watching sports, and spending time with my family.
