Bio
Why I chose Family Medicine: During my third-year rotations, there were some aspects I enjoyed in each specialty I rotated through; however, none captivated me like family medicine due to the multi-specialty care and the ability to form lifelong relationships with patients through longitudinal care
Why I chose the IU Family Medicine Residency Program: I was thoroughly impressed with the faculty I interviewed with and felt like IU FM had a genuine familial relationship among residents and staff. Also, I am very interested in sports medicine, so the sports medicine track and ability to personalize my curriculum accordingly appealed to me. Moreover, the ability to receive excellent training in a university hospital was very enticing.
Interests and hobbies: I like to play sports, especially basketball, football, and volleyball and like to watch sports, cheering on my hometown Detroit Pistons and Lions (It’s been a tough couple of years). I also like going to the gym, watching TV shows & movies, playing video games and board games, and travelling.
