Bio

Why I chose Family Medicine: Family medicine is at the forefront of healthcare, it offers physicians the skill and ability to provide care to a wide range of patients regardless of age and gender, in essence it maximizes the output of physicians in the community. It is often seen as a cost-effective way to provide care, as it can help reduce the need for more expensive specialty care and hospitalization. Overall, a family physician plays an important role in promoting health, preventing diseases and providing personalized care to individuals and families of all ages.

Why I chose the IU Arnett Family Medicine Residency Program: IU Health has a great curriculum to equip residents the needed knowledge and skill to be able to practice independently and effectively after training. Also, the faculty promotes an environment of diversity and inclusiveness for residents from different backgrounds to function and thrive. It felt like home.

Personal interests and hobbies: I may not be good at it but love to cook, I like riding bicycles and motorcycles too. I enjoy swimming when the lifeguard is around.

Languages I am fluent in: English, Dagbani
