Bio

Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose Family Medicine because of the breadth of the practice, covering from newborns to geriatrics and (almost) everything in between, as well as the ability to form long-term connections with patients. Family Medicine positions me best to be able to guide my patients in improving and maintaining their health over their lifetime. Its emphasis on preventative medicine and holistic approaches to health also allows me to practice medicine in a proactive manner.

Why I chose the IU Arnett Family Medicine Residency Program: Having completed medical school in Lafayette, IN, many of my clinical rotations were at IU Health Arnett Hospital, including ones with the Arnett Family Medicine Residency Program. I appreciated the learning experience at community-based hospitals. Additionally, I found myself supported as a student throughout my rotations at Arnett and felt that Arnett was a good place to continue my medical education as a resident.

Personal interests and hobbies: I love food, both cooking and eating it. I also enjoy playing video games and dabbling in digital art.

Languages I am fluent in: American English (native speaker), Mandarin Chinese
