Why did you apply for the Psychiatry Residency in Merrillville?
I did my rotation here in October of 2021 and really liked that this was a solely psychiatry program. I think it’s so important at this time to make sure mental health is a high priority in our society. I also was interested in the substance abuse clinic here.
What do you like most about the residency so far?
I like that it’s a new program. I realized how much I could put into the program and how I could shape it. I think that’s a really cool opportunity.
