Bio

Why I chose Family Medicine:

I chose family medicine because I felt it was the specialty that most aligned with my career goals. It gives me the opportunity to work directly with underserved communities to help meet their needs and it allows me to follow my patients long-term. It also allows me to manage patient conditions both in an inpatient setting and in clinics. Further, this specialty has such a large breadth of knowledge and variety that I feel will help train me to be the physician I always envisioned.

Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program:

I have worked with a number of resident and attending physicians as a medical student, but this program has the kind of cohesiveness and teamwork between everyone that I had rarely seen before; the kind that I hoped I would be able to find and join in a residency program. This program serves a very diverse population in Indianapolis which I feel can give me the experience and education to make me a well-rounded physician and advocate.

Interests and hobbies:

Spending time with my wife and daughters, being out in the wilderness, martial arts, and traveling.
