Talia Nasr, MD, PhD

Talia Nasr, MD is from Michigan City, Indiana and obtained her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She will graduate from the IU Triple Board Program in 2027.

Why Triple Board at IU?

I really appreciated that Triple Board at IU supports strong and cohesive integration of psychiatry and pediatrics training throughout all 5 years of residency. I also wanted a program that with a supportive culture that was also close to home, which Triple Board at IU fit perfectly. 

 Career Interests: I’m interested in the intersection of mental health and chronic physical conditions, especially within the areas of gastroenterology and pulmonology. I also enjoy research and my ideal career will integrate some form of research within my clinical practice. 

Outside of work: Spending time with friends and family, reading, listening to music, going to museums, cooking and baking, and exploring new bakeries and restaurants.
