Bio

Hometown: I'm from a military family, living in places such as Japan, Hawaii and Brooklyn but consider Chicago home.

Why Triple Board at IU?

I genuinely had the best interview day at IU. Even though we had the first-ever virtual interview season, I could feel the warmth and authenticity from everyone. I know I will get great training with a diverse patient population. Indianapolis is also close to Chicago, which I am very happy about.

Career Interests:

I want to destigmatize mental health in minority communities. Unfortunately, mental health is stigmatized in many minority communities. However, people will always see their pediatrician, so I hope to have an integrated practice. I also have a strong desire to work with children of military families to serve their unique needs. I hope to learn all about trauma-informed care and to be an advocate for all marginalized communities.

Outside of work:

I really enjoy anything related to beauty, travel and wellness. Love everything from makeup, hair, and fragrances. Traveling is included in my wellness, but I also enjoy checking out different brunch spots, working out and taking care of my plant babies.
