About Katherine

Katherine has a varied skillset that she brought to the Orientation Coordinator of New Provider and Faculty Orientation position. She has over two decades of experience in education, project planning, and project management. As the Coordinator for New Provider and Faculty Orientation (NPFO), Katherine is responsible for the planning, coordinating, and executing of NPFO for more than 700 new faculty and providers a year. Committed to providing an exceptional onboarding experience to incoming providers and faculty, Katherine works closely with all IU Health Physician service lines and IU School of Medicine clinical departments. In addition, Katherine is creating a staff development program for Faculty Affairs and Professional Development.

Katherine is a West Virginia native, calling the coalfields of Southern West Virginia home. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Education and Psychology from Glenville State University and a dual master’s degree in Executive Development for Public Service and Adult and Community Education from Ball State University. Additionally, Katherine holds a graduate certificate in Business from Ball State University Miller School of Business and a certificate in Project Management from the Kelley School of Business. She thoroughly explores her creativity by designing and creating costumes and clothing in her spare time.
