Chi Wah “Rudy” Yung, MD, practices comprehensive ophthalmology and sees patients at Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital and Glick Eye Institute.. His practice includes treating patients with diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration and preforming cataract surgeries.
As a faculty physician, Yung is ophthalmology’s director of medical student education, helping lead the department’s efforts in teaching hundreds of learners each year to understand the complexities of the eye. He also oversees the Ophthalmology Student Outreach Group. He is the Eye Clinic director and Chief of Ophthalmology Service at the Eskenazi Hospital.
Yung earned a Bachelor of Science from Indiana State University in 1980 and graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1984. He received his residency training at the University of Louisville and joined the department in 1988.
He is consistently named a “Top Docs” by Indianapolis Monthly since 2000.
