Dr. Richelle Baker M.D., M.S., FAAP is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine and a Pediatric Hospitalist at Riley Hospital for Children. Dr. Baker completed her pediatric residency and pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at Indiana University and Riley Hospital for Children. She practices as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis and at IU Health North Hospital. She is the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Division Education Director, and has a strong interest in improving the education of pediatric residents and medical students. Dr. Baker is involved in multiple hospital committees, including the Riley Asthma Quality Council and the Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship, and is involved in creating treatment pathways for illnesses such as pneumonia. Dr. Baker holds memberships in national professional societies, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, Section on Hospital Medicine and the Academic Pediatric Association.
