Serves as Vice Chair of Finance & Strategy for the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, as well as Chair of the IU Health Clinical Effectiveness Imaging Council. Currently serving as Interim Chair for the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, overseeing Radiology's contribution to the tripartie mission of the School of Medicine--advancing excellence in clinical care, education, and research.

Dr. Dunkle is a Diagnostic Radiologist whose area of specialty expertise is Emergency Radiology. He has been a faculty member in the Division of Emergency Radiology since 2006 with areas of interest mainly dealing with Emergency Radiology operations and quality. Dr. Dunkle is active in the American Society of Emergency Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology (and Indiana Radiological Society), as well as the American Roentgen Ray Society.
