Bio
Kevin Smith, MD joined the Indiana University School of Medicine faculty in July 2010. He received his undergraduate training at Anderson University, in Anderson, Indiana. He continued his education at Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency with the Indiana University School of Medicine Deparatment of Radiology and Imaging Sciences.
Following the completion of his residency he was appointed Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Indiana University School of Medicine. He began his career serving the community division at IU Health North hospital, where besides establishing a successful diagnostic radiology practice, he also served on several medical staff committees and positions. This included a 2 year term as president of the medical staff.
He was also appointed to the IU Health North Board of Directors in July of 2016. In January 2018 he was appointed to the position of Associate Vice Chair of Clinical Operations for the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences.
Dr. Smith's area of clinical expertise is center on body CT imaging with additional experience with body interventional radiology procedures.
