Dr. Lauren Ladd is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology and has been a faculty member in the IU Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences since 2014. She graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2008, the IUSM Methodist Hospital Transitional Year Residency Program in 2009, the IUSM Radiology Residency Program in 2013, and the University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology Musculoskeletal Imaging & Intervention Fellowship in 2014. She works clinically primarily at IU Health Methodist and Saxony Hospitals as part of the Musculoskeletal Radiology Division, and she is also the Associate Program Director of the IUSM Methodist Hospital Transitional Year Residency Program.
She is the faculty co-sponsor of the Women in Radiology group, co-chair of the Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences Diversity & Inclusiveness Committee, and the Musculoskeletal division resident education liaison. Outside of the Radiology Department and Transitional Year Program, she is a member of the IUSM Women’s Advisory Council, member of the IUSM Wellness Advisory Board, and member of the Indiana Radiological Society, of which she has held several leadership positions including President. Her clinical interests include musculoskeletal imaging and intervention (especially musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures), and she is a passionate educator. She is the recipient of an IUSM Trustee Teaching Award (2017) and a Current Radiology Reports Editor’s Recognition Award for one of the Top 10 Most Downloaded Articles (2016).
Outside of the department, Lauren enjoys the outdoors, gardening, baking, exercising, and – above all – spending time with her family.
