Bio

Elham Pashaei is a researcher currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the IU School of Medicine, Department of Medical & Molecular Genetics, Indianapolis, USA. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, and an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Computer Science and Software Engineering from institutions in Iran.
Dr. Pashaei previously held various academic roles at Istanbul Gelisim University, including Associate Professor, Vice-Head of Department, and Erasmus Coordinator. She contributed significantly to teaching, departmental leadership, and research during her tenure.
Her research focuses on bioinformatics, meta-heuristic optimization algorithms, computer vision, data structures, artificial intelligence, deep learning, and pattern recognition. Her work bridges computational theory and practical applications, advancing computational biology and engineering knowledge.
