Bio
Dr. Stephanie Hurwitz is a physician-scientist and Hematopathologist at Indiana University School of Medicine. She obtained her MD and PhD degrees from the Florida State University College of Medicine, and completed Clinical Pathology residency and Hematopathology fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania. Her scientific research is focused on advancing our understanding of dynamic hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell signaling through secreted extracellular vesicles, and the impact of these factors on regenerative hematopoiesis during transplantation.
