Bio
Dr. David Agarwal is an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology at the Indiana University School of Medicine and Former Director of the IUSM Vascular & Interventional Radiology Fellowship training program. He is Board Certified in both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and is a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR). Dr. Agarwal received his Bachelor of Science degrees in Molecular Biology and German Culture as well as his Medical Degree in the Medical Scholars Program at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. After General Surgery training at the Boston University Medical Center and the Nassau University Medical Center in New York, Dr. Agarwal completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency and served as Chief Resident at the New York Medical College St. Vincent Medical Center. He completed his Fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. In addition to peer-reviewed publications in the fields of imaging, hepatocellular carcinoma, neuroendocrine tumors, bile duct and pancreatic cancer, and transplant interventions, Dr. Agarwal’s research interests include treatment of portal hypertension and arterial and venous disease.
