Bio
Dr. Ali is faculty within the division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. After growing up in Peoria, IL, Dr. Ali obtained his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago and his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He completed residency, chief residency, and two years as a pediatric hospitalist at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. After this, he moved to Madison, WI to complete a pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Dr Ali's areas of interest include medial education, pediatric sedation, as well as educational simulation. Specifically, Dr. Ali hopes to use clinical simulation to improve pediatric care in regional hospitals as well as to help providers at all levels improve their skill in communicating with patients as well as care team members. Further, Dr. Ali is passionate about helping children, especially those with developmental delay or medial complexity, get through procedures safely and comfortably by employing new pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical methods.
