Bio
I am originally from Cadiz, a small beach town in Southern Spain. I have moved around my whole life; I have lived in four different countries. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, where the 'running of the bulls' happen. I then completed my medical education at St. George's University School of Medicine, which was my first-time leaving Europe. I then moved to the east coast to complete my Internal Medicine residency at Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY. My career interests revolve around Obesity and Nutrition in the realm of General Gastroenterology. I am an avid foodie and coffee lover, so in my free time I enjoy trying new restaurants and coffee shops/bakeries (and have been pleasantly surprised by Indy). You will otherwise see me going to concerts, sporting events, traveling or staying active whether that is a walk by the canal or going to the gym. I was drawn to Indiana University for two main reasons: the people and the quality of education, and both have surpassed expectations.Year | Degree | Institution |
