Bio
Dr. Kiel is the full time oncology clinical pharmacist for the IU Health Precision Genomics Program. His current research focuses on clinical outcomes of targeted therapy in patients with cancer guided by genomic sequencing and he has received funding to evaluate exceptional responders and evaluate biomarkers for patients enrolled in the Precision Genomics Program Biobank. Dr. Kiel collaborates closely with the Division of Clinical Pharmacology faculty to assess pharmacotherapy in patients who have undergone metabolism germline analysis. Additional long term research projects include collaborating with the Regenstrief Institute for assessment of drug-drug interactions between acid suppression agents and tyrosine kinase inhibitors in the treatment of malignancies and the impact on progression-free survival or overall survival.Year | Degree | Institution |
