Bio
David Campbell, MD joined Indiana University School of Medicine faculty in 2022. He is fellowship-trained in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction and sees patients at IU West in Avon. He performs surgeries at IU West, IU North, and IU Main Campus.
Dr. Campbell grew up outside of Milwaukee and earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2016. He stayed at MCW for his residency in otolaryngology. He completed a fellowship in head and neck oncology/reconstruction at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. At Mount Sinai, he received specialized training in endocrine surgery and minimally invasive surgical techniques such as transoral robotic surgery.
Dr. Campbell sees adult and pediatric patients with any ear, nose, and throat complaint. He has clinical and research interest in the management of benign and malignant lesions of the head and neck, thyroid/parathyroid/salivary gland pathologies, sinusitis, and nasal airway obstruction. Dr. Campbell’s goal at a clinic visit is to ensure the patient and their family fully understand their specific medical concern, their treatment options, and why a particular option is recommended.
In his time away from the hospital, Dr. Campbell enjoys travelling, hiking, and being outdoors with his family.
