Bio
Dr. Castaneda grew up in Iowa before attending medical school at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She then went on to complete pediatric residency as well as chief residency at Children’s Wisconsin/Medical College of Wisconsin. She moved to Denver, CO to complete fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Children’s Hospital Colorado before starting at IU/Riley. Her academic interests include simulation-based interprofessional education as well as resident/medical student education.
