Bio

Maria B. Padua is a Research Assistant Professor at the Herman B Wells Center for Pediatrics Research, Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Padua obtained her undergraduate degree from Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado in Venezuela and her Master of Science and PhD degrees from University of Florida where she received the Sigma Xi Graduate Student Research Award. Dr. Padua had postdoctoral training appointments at University of Florida and Indiana University.
