Bio

Dr. Marcuccilli worked in private practice for five years prior to relocating to Indianapolis to pursue an academic career in nephrology. She enjoys all aspects of renal medicine including chronic kidney disease, electrolyte imbalance, and kidney transplant. She has a special interest in how cardiac disease affects the kidneys and she recently opened the first nephro-cardiology clinic in the state of Indiana. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time cooking with her husband and being outdoors with her daughter and their Bernadoodle, Haribo.

Education, Professional Accreditation and Certification

Dr. Marcuccilli attended the University of Notre Dame for her undergraduate and completed her osteopathic medical training at Touro University in California prior to her residency at the University of Chicago-NorthShore, where she served as chief resident. She finished her fellowship at the University of Colorado where she also completed a certificate in medical education. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Marcuccilli was recently appointed the statewide Associate Clerkship Director of Internal Medicine for Indiana University. She was previously awarded the Eli Lilly Scholarship and was named "Top Doctor" in 5280 Magazine for the Denver metro area in 2020.
