Tori Powers, PhD, joined the Department of Psychiatry in July 2021 in the role of Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry. Her clinical interests include anxiety and OCD, adult survivors of trauma, and health psychology.
Dr. Powers uses several theoretical orientations in her treatment, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques, and trauma-focused treatments.
She received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Spanish, and Latin American Studies in 2013 from Ohio Wesleyan. She completed both her Masters and PhD in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University in 2015 and 2018, respectively.
