Bio
Why I chose Family Medicine: I am passionate about women’s health and pediatric care and am drawn to the comprehensive health care that family medicine doctors practice. I am dedicated to addressing mental health, especially in underserved communities. I also love the flexibility of family medicine where it allows you to tailor your career to your particular interests.
Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program: What first drew me to IU was the wide variety of subspecialty tracks that I could participate in to develop my interests, particularly in women’s health. I admired IU's strong inpatient curriculum that also offered diverse outpatient clinics. I loved the camaraderie and welcoming atmosphere I noticed among residents and faculty members during the interview season.
Interests and hobbies: I love sports, especially women’s soccer. I love to travel, experiment with new foods, and spend time with friends and family. I also am obsessed with British detective dramas.
