Bio
Dr Thacker is a Clinical Pharmacologist with experience in the field of clinical pharmacology, specializing in pharmacogenomics as well as pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), pharmacovigilance and regulatory affairs, and modeling & simulation. He has designed and managed clinical trials, as well as analyzing the data generated and monitoring the safety of the subjects to be presented in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He completed his Clinical Pharmacology Fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine, under the tutelage of his mentor Dr. David A. Flockhart, MD, PhD. Dr Thacker is currently actively updating The Flockhart Table ™ at the IU School of Medicine its lead curator. He has a background in analytical chemistry from Virginia Tech and was the lab manager for the Clinical Pharmacology Department Pharmacogenetics and Core Lab at Georgetown University before returning to school to obtain his PharmD at Shenandoah University. He is a licensed Pharmacist in Indiana, West Virginia and Virginia.
