Bio

Dr. Muhammad Ansar's practice philosophy is that the patient is always his priority. His clinical interests include thyroid diseases and cancers, diabetes mellitus and adrenal gland diseases. He also has special interest in thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration biopsy, diabetes technology including management of insulin pumps and interpretation of continuous glucose monitoring and data. He feels the endocrinology specialty helps foster rewarding long term patient-doctor relationships and allows to help patients in a measurable and meaningful manner. He has published work about stroke and diabetes insipidus.

Dr. Ansar received his doctor of medicine degree at Quaid-E-Azam University in Islamabad, Pakistan. His residency program was completed at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He completed his fellowship program in endocrinology at the University of Iowa. He is board certified in both internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.
